Volunteerism / Community Service
Onvia’s philosophy on “giving back” to the community is an important part of our culture. We have many passionate employees that like to get involved and play a part in making our community here in Seattle stronger for everyone. At present, we picked six charities to focus our attention on. Collectively, we raised money for these charities and donated food, toys and clothing. Those charities were:
- Orion Youth Center
- Tree-house for Kids
- Compass Center
- Downtown Emergency Services
- Northwest Food Harvest
- Providence Hospice
As we move into the future, we are hoping to do even more but we need a strong team of individuals that feel as passionately about “giving back” as we do. Every year we make decisions on which organizations need our assistance, but we always welcome suggestions from our team member to help broaden our reach.
